Add Real Customer Reviews to Your Webflow Site in Minutes
If your best social proof is sitting on your Shopify App Store listing while your Webflow landing page sits there review-free, AppLaud fixes that. One script tag, no custom code blocks required beyond the embed itself, and your existing marketplace reviews start doing conversion work where visitors actually make decisions.

Why Your Reviews Are Stuck in the Wrong Place
You spent months earning 4- and 5-star reviews on the Shopify App Store. Those reviews are credible, specific, and written by real customers who paid for your product. The problem is they live behind a marketplace URL that most of your marketing traffic never visits.
Your Webflow site is where potential customers land from ads, from Google, from your email campaigns. That is where the buy decision gets made. Without social proof on those pages, you are asking visitors to take your word for it — when you already have dozens of customers who would vouch for you, if only their words showed up at the right moment.
One Script Tag, Any Webflow Project
AppLaud generates a single embed script that you paste into a Webflow Embed element. That is the entire integration. The widget renders in a shadow DOM, which means it cannot conflict with your Webflow styles no matter what custom CSS your project uses. It loads asynchronously and is CDN-cached, so it does not cause layout shift as your page loads.
The widget itself works on any website — Webflow, Framer, Next.js, plain HTML, WordPress, or anything else. The rendering layer has no platform dependency. You can use the same embed code across multiple sites if your plan supports multiple apps.
What AppLaud Actually Imports (and What Is Coming)
Today, AppLaud connects to the Shopify App Store. If you have a Shopify app with reviews there, you can import them immediately. The widget shows 4- and 5-star reviews by default, and you control which reviews appear — you can pin a favorite to the top or hide one that is no longer relevant.
Each review card links back to the original review on the marketplace, which adds authenticity that screenshots or copy-pasted quotes cannot provide. Support for Chrome Web Store and WordPress.org reviews is on the roadmap. If you are building for one of those platforms, you can sign up free today and you will be first in line when those sources go live.
Pricing Built for Indie Developers and Small Teams
The Free plan lets you display up to 10 testimonials with an AppLaud badge — no credit card required, and it is a reasonable way to see how the widget looks on your actual Webflow pages before committing.
Starter is $19 per month and removes the branding, lifts the testimonial limit to unlimited, and covers one app. Pro is $39 per month and supports up to 10 apps plus analytics. There are no setup fees and no annual commitment required.
How to Set It Up on Webflow
Connect your Shopify App Store listing at get-applaud.com, let AppLaud pull in your reviews, then copy the generated script tag. In Webflow, drop an Embed element wherever you want the widget to appear — above the fold next to your hero CTA, in a dedicated social proof section, or in your site footer. Paste the script, publish, and your reviews are live.
Because the widget is async and shadow-DOM isolated, it requires no changes to your Webflow project settings, no custom fonts, and no interaction with your site's existing interactions or animations. If you change your Webflow template later, the embed travels with it unchanged.
Frequently asked questions
- Does AppLaud work with Webflow even though it imports from Shopify?
- Yes. Review import and widget rendering are separate things. AppLaud imports reviews from the Shopify App Store (the only live source today), and the resulting widget can be embedded on any website including Webflow, via a single script tag in an Embed element.
- Will the AppLaud widget break my Webflow styles?
- No. The widget renders inside a shadow DOM, which creates a hard boundary between AppLaud's styles and your site's CSS. Your custom Webflow styling cannot leak in and AppLaud's styles cannot leak out, so there are no conflicts regardless of how complex your project is.
- I sell on WordPress.org or the Chrome Web Store — can I use AppLaud?
- Not yet for importing reviews from those sources. Shopify App Store is the only live review import today. Chrome Web Store and WordPress.org imports are on the roadmap. You can sign up free now and will be notified when support for your platform goes live.
- Can I try it before paying?
- Yes. The Free plan lets you display up to 10 testimonials on your Webflow site with an AppLaud badge. No credit card is required to sign up. You can see exactly how the widget looks on your live site before deciding whether to upgrade.
